"Help Bring Midhun Home to Kerala for His Final Rest"

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of our dear friend, Midhun, who recently left us in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Midhun was a kind-hearted, humble, and hardworking young man. Originally from Kerala, South India, he came to Canada with dreams of building a better life for himself and his family. He was full of hope, generosity, and quiet strength—always offering a helping hand, a warm smile, or a kind word.

Behind his gentle nature, however, Midhun silently battled with mental health challenges. Like so many others, he struggled with the invisible weight of depression and emotional hardship. Despite his efforts to stay strong, the emotional burden became too heavy. His untimely passing is a devastating reminder of how serious and often overlooked mental health struggles can be—especially for those far from home, away from family and traditional support systems.

In this time of grief, we are coming together to support his heartbroken parents and family. They wish to bring Midhun’s body home to Kerala, where they can say their final goodbyes and carry out his last rites in accordance with their faith and cultural traditions.

Unfortunately, the costs of international repatriation, funeral services, and legal and travel arrangements are extremely high and beyond what the family can manage alone. We are raising funds to:
