Michael Zornes was a loveable, caring person who always went out of his way to help others. Everyone who met Michael became his friend, and he had a smile that could light up any room. He grew up in Olive Hill, Kentucky, graduated from West Carter High School, and went on to Morehead State University, where he was a member of the cheerleading squad. After graduation, Michael moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he lived with his cousins Kim Richeson and Angi Moore, who were more like sisters to him. Later, he became president of the tenant association at his apartment complex in San Francisco, California, treating everyone like family. Michael was the beloved brother of David, Jonathan (Shawn), and Todd (deceased), and the son of Linda and Leon (deceased). He also adored his dog, Squinch.
Our family is facing unexpected funeral expenses after Michael's passing, and unfortunately, there was no insurance to help cover these costs. We are working to bring Michael's body from California to Ohio so he can be laid to rest near family and friends, and we need support to cover the travel and funeral expenses.
Our family would deeply appreciate the love, prayers, and support from anyone who can assist during this difficult time. Your kindness will help us honor Michael's memory and bring him home.
