In 1873, a group of cricketers in South West London founded a football club. They went on to produce two England captains, win the Surrey Senior Cup, tour Paris unbeaten, and reach a European quarter-final in 1905.

Then the club went quiet for over a century.

In 2026, we brought East Sheen FC back. No budget. No players. No pitch. Just a 153-year-old story worth telling and a community worth building.

Before we have played a single match, 166 publications across 13 countries have covered the revival. BBC Radio London is airing a feature on the club this week. The response has been overwhelming.

Every pound raised goes directly towards kits for our players and the running costs that keep the club on the field this season. We are fielding 3 men’s teams, a women’s first team, youth teams in development, and a brand new beach soccer team competing at the England Beach Soccer Championships in Tynemouth this July.

This is not a professional club with a boardroom and a budget. This is a community being rebuilt from the ground up, by people who believe sport makes you a better version of yourself, on and off the pitch.
