Help Bring Melina KB's Next Music Video to Life!

My name is Melina KB, I’m an independent theatrical pop artist, and I am psyched to announce I’m shooting a musical short film! 

Creating an out-of-the-box visual world around my releases is one of my most favorite elements of being a musician. After seeing how excited you were about my “Never Acting at All” video, I immediately knew I wanted to ideate another project similar as a thank you for being my biggest cheerleaders. So what did me and my best friends do? We wrote & have been plotting the most campy, comedic, over-the-top dramatic short film and want you to be a part of it. Let me introduce… “Gotcha!”

The plot: Mel is on a mission to catch her boyfriend cheating on her when she sees him receive a text from a woman named Mimi about secretly meeting later that evening. As Mel’s mood swings between a panicked spiral of playing out affair scenarios & trying not to jump to conclusions, she follows her lover to his plans. Without ruining the surprise, let’s just say that Mel’s detective work leads her to an unimaginable twist. 

I am SO pumped about this mini musical short film and am proud to be making it fully independently. That means that in exchange for 100% creative control, my work (since day 1 of my first release 5 years ago) is not financially/industry supported by a record label, agency, management, or any other company. My musical & visuals collaborators are all close friends, college students, or recent graduates. We pour our hearts into the art we make, and cannot wait to film “Gotcha!”
