Help Bring Melchie Home
We find ourselves in an unimaginably painful and heartbreaking situation as we come together to ask for your support. We are reaching out to you today to help finance the funeral and transportation of the dearly departed Melchie May Stanton to her homeland, Initao, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
Melchie was a vibrant and loving Filipina who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm smile and caring heart. Born on January 6, 1981, she is the loving daughter of the late Peter Sacabin and Iraida Tan. Tragically, her life was cut short on September 1, 2023, due to a gunshot wound to the head. The circumstances surrounding her untimely passing remain shrouded in mystery.
Currently, Melchie's body lies at Zuasola Funeral Home, Bloomfield, New Jersey, waiting for the means to return to her cherished homeland, the Philippines, where she wished to find her final resting place. Her passing leaves us with a profound sense of grief and has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Her family and relatives in the Philippines are mourning her loss and longing to see her one last time and provide her with a proper funeral according to Filipino customs and traditions. They are desperate to have her remains brought back to her homeland, where she can rest in peace with her ancestors. However, the costs associated with repatriating her body and arranging a proper funeral are substantial, and her family is struggling to cover these expenses on their own.
We, the friends and loved ones of Melchie, are joining hands to support her family in their time of need. We humbly ask for your assistance in contributing to the "Help Bring Melchie Home Fund." Your generous donations will go toward the following:
1. Funeral Expenses: To honor Melchie's memory and culture, your contributions will go toward the costs of a respectful and dignified funeral service, including a suitable casket, traditional Filipino floral arrangements, and all essential expenses.
2. Transportation Costs: Melchie's final wish was to return to her homeland, and your contributions will cover the airfare, transportation within the Philippines, and all necessary documentation and permits to fulfill her wish.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping us give Melchie the farewell she deserves and bringing her back to her loved ones in the Philippines. We understand that times are tough for many, and any amount you can spare is deeply appreciated.
Melchie's life may have been cut short, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Let's come together to give her the love and respect she deserves and provide solace to her grieving family during this difficult time.
