Hi! I am Jennifer and for several years I worked for various non profit Horse sanctuaries until recently when I purchased some land of my own for my horses with the intent of rescuing more. Well, here we are, much sooner than I thought. Let me introduce you to Meche. She is an older brood mare who has been carrying babies her whole life and living in the worst conditions. I first met her about 3 years ago when volunteering near her and when I left, she has never left my heart. The man who owns her knows I want her and has been gouging me on price, but I dont care, I want her home, with me, where she will get love, food, water and freedom. She can be whatever she likes and I will ask nothing of her. Meche will live out her days surrounded by as much joy as she can hold. I need to raise money to buy her. I am putting in 2500.00 of my own money but need at least 2500.00 more to get her and maybe her colt. I am asking for help. I promise to post updates and receipts.
