Max resides in Amphoe Koh Sa-Mui, Surat Thani, Thailand and has not been able to see family and friends in Southern California for several years.

This fundraisers goal is to raise enough to cover Max's travel and expenses from Thailand to Huntington Beach this summer to visit family, attend the Huntington Beach Surfing Association, club reunion, and to help with the clubs reorganization.

Max founded the Huntington Beach Surfing Association in 1963, out of his shop Surfboards Surfside, the HBSA went on to be one of the most successful and historically significant surfing clubs in southern California. Max has been spearheading the reorginazion and rebooting of the club, this trip will go a long way in helping him preserve his and the clubs legacy for future generations.

Due to foreign banking challanges, funds will be distributed to a family member in the US, and forward to Max.
