**update**
My husband's health deteriorated at an unexpected speed, causing his heart to fail. He died March 9, 2024. Mauro left his country 24 years ago and has not returned since then. His parents and siblings want to give him the last goodbye.
It is a very difficult time, I have my two young children, funeral procedures, and I am still waiting for the hospital bill. God will know how to thank you for your good heart.
My name is Patricia Cadmilema, on 5 March 2024, my husband, Mauro Alvarez, collapsed due to a sheer amount of pain. With no hesitation, I took him to the Emergency Room in Clarksville, TN where he was immediately transferred to the TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN under intensive care. He needs to be connected to an oxygen machine to be able to breathe, his skin and eyes turned yellow, and his organs are starting to fail him. Unfortunately, the doctors are unable to identify his condition or what caused this misfortune. We are devastated and do not have the necessary funds to cover for the hospital bill. We moved from New York to Tennessee only four months ago, therefore, we’re not fully established. We have two small children and were both working to make end meet.
For all this, with my hand on my heart and with great shame I come to you to extend a helping hand to me. It is a very difficult and desperate time, but I have faith that everything will turn out well.
Thank you for your support, please keep my husband in your prayers.
