Vanessa Parrazal is a devoted mom, a caring friend, and a beloved member of our community. Our families share a backyard, and our daughters are schoolmates and best friends. Vanessa has always been there for those around her, working tirelessly to create a loving home and a bright future for her daughter.


Recently, our world was turned upside down when Vanessa was detained by ICE violently. This sudden and heartbreaking event has left her family and friends deeply worried and in urgent need of support. Every day apart is a struggle, especially for her young daughter, who I know has to miss her mom dearly. The family is facing overwhelming costs to stay in touch with Vanessa, and it is absolutely essential for them to keep that connection. On top of that, there are legal fees and now preparations for the bond that will be needed to bring Vanessa home. Vanessa will have a hearing on Tuesday, December 23rd, and we’re hoping to finally have a bond set that day and funds ready to pay it.


We are so thankful for the outpour of support our community has shown for our local mom, Vanessa. We wouldn’t have gotten this far without everyone’s support and we ask that everyone continue to share Vanessa’s story and pray we can bring her home before Christmas. Vanessa has worked so hard to make sure her daughter has a beautiful Christmas, and she deserves to see her smile on Christmas Day. What she’s been put through has been inhumane and unjust and we thank everyone again for their continued support. Your help means the world to us, and together, we can bring Vanessa home.
