Help Bring Marlyn Home to Rest with Her Son

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Marlyn Solano, who went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2025.

After courageously fighting and recovering from multiple myeloma, a rare form of cancer, Marlyn’s strength and faith inspired everyone around her. Sadly, just as she was beginning to rebuild her life, she contracted pneumonia and later suffered a stroke and aneurysm, which she could not recover from.

Marlyn leaves behind her loving husband Jun and daughter Jireh, who were her greatest pride and joy.

Those who knew Marlyn will remember her as a kind, selfless, and hardworking woman who always put others before herself. She dedicated much of her life to providing for her family — working overseas in Lebanon and Hong Kong before finally settling in hhCanada to build a better life with her loved ones.

Her incredible work ethic and unwavering faith in God shone through even in her hardest times. Despite her busy schedule, she never missed a chance to give praise and attend church whenever she could.

Marlyn was also the breadwinner for her parents and siblings in the Philippines. Even while undergoing cancer treatment, she continued to work and send support to ensure her family could live comfortably and with dignity.

Now, her family’s deepest wish is to bring Marlyn’s earthly remains home to the Philippines, where she can be laid to rest beside her beloved infant son, Cionyl.

We are humbly asking for your help to make this possible. Your kind donations will go toward repatriation costs, funeral expenses, and family support during this heartbreaking time.

Marlyn gave so much love and care to others throughout her life — and now, we hope to give her the peaceful homecoming she truly deserves.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support.
Every contribution, big or small, means the world to her family.
