Help bring Maggie and Skye Home

I am Amy Gruber, mother of Maggie. On Wednesday, 2/5, there was a fire in Maggie and Skye's apartment building. They made it out with just enough time to grab their fur babies before everywhere was consumed by smoke.

We were notified today that the building is being condemned due to the extensive damage and everyone needs to find other housing.

This was their first home together, one they lived in for the last 4 years, where they got engaged in their living room on Christmas, surrounded by close friends and family. So many firsts, so many memories. We have a little village rallied behind them to help them during this difficult time and give them a safe and warm place. We have gathered what we could that can be cleaned from the smoke damage and some clothes that we hope can be salvaged, but so much has been lost. They will be starting over, unfortunately. All they want to do is go home!

Let’s rally behind them and help get them home! All proceeds will go to, first and foremost, a new place to call home, as well as essentials and furniture to make it a home, and clothing. Any help at this time is greatly appreciated.
