It is with a deeply heavy heart and profound sadness that we share the passing of beautiful 16-month-old Sarah. Little Sarah, a bright light who brought immense joy to everyone around her, tragically passed away this Friday after a serious, generalized infection and health complications.

Sarah lived with her parents, who are originally from Brazil. In this moment of unimaginable pain and despair, their greatest wish is to take their baby girl home to Brazil to be laid to rest, surrounded by extended family and loved ones who never had the chance to say goodbye.

I have organized this GoFundMe campaign to help them fulfill this heartbreaking wish. The costs associated with an unexpected passing, especially the complex and expensive process of international repatriation of remains, are overwhelming for the family to manage on their own.
