Little King-The Orange Years~NYC and Beyond

Little King is a musical satire I wrote after Donald Trump was elected President, the FIRST time. It is my resistance piece. All of the names have been changed to protect the guilty.

The musical/play follows Little Man, who, through a series of mysterious events, becomes Little King of the Little Kingdom. The rest is history.

Featuring original songs and music, puppets, a talking bird, a mannequin, 9 actors, and a Narrator. Together they will tell the tale of the Little King. A tale of greed and abuse of power. Ultimately, truth, love, and justice will prevail.

Written along the timeline of Trump’s 1st presidency with all the familiar characters and tweets.

Covfefe leads the revolution that brings down Little King and returns him to the little man he always was.

We performed this piece at Green Room 42 in February 2020.

After Covid shut everything down, I adapted the piece for a Zoom/I-Movie production and released a 13-episode series on YouTube.

Little King just had its NYC premiere with a 4-performance run at Under St. Mark’s Theatre, January 2-5th, 2025.

We are looking to do another run in NY and Boston very soon!!

This has been a long journey getting here. I’m so proud of my little piece and my amazing troupe of actors and creatives.
