Our dear friend and loved one, Lito Kempis, 43, suffered a massive intracerebral hemorrhage (stroke) on July 26, 2025 while in Canada. The stroke severely affected the right side of his brain, leaving him unable to control his left-side of the body and could not care for himself.

Lito is currently in St. Mary's Hospital, Camrose, Alberta, receiving care and rehabilitation. All the doctors cleared him for discharge but his condition requires constant assistance - he cannot travel alone and must return to the Philippines via stretcher and with a medical attendant to be with his family, who can care for him in the long term.

Unfortunately, his travel insurance has been declined due to documentation stating he was not compliant with his medications. This has left Lito and his loved ones facing the devastating reality of arranging and funding his medical repatriation entirely on their own.

We are asking for your help to raise an amount to cover his cost of hospitalization and his repatriation expenses.
