In Ukraine, the risk of a humanitarian crisis linked to power outages has not disappeared with the end of winter. Although temperatures are now warmer, millions of civilians still face an unstable electricity supply due to the severe damage suffered by the country’s energy infrastructure. Power cuts continue to affect daily life, making access to electricity essential for safety, communication, and basic needs.

The consequences of this crisis have already been dramatic. In January alone, over 600,000 people left the capital Kyiv because essential services such as electricity and heating were no longer reliably available.

Portable power stations remain extremely important for civilians. They help families keep lights on, charge phones, stay in contact, and power essential devices during blackouts. They are not only useful in the current situation, but also crucial in preparation for the return of winter, as Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is still far from being fully restored and the pressure on the system will increase again during the colder months.

This fundraiser supports the purchase of FOSSiBOT portable power stations (F1200 and F2400 models) for civilian use during blackouts.

The project is supported by the Polish humanitarian foundation Stand With Ukraine, which will receive the power stations and arrange their delivery to Ukraine as part of its civilian humanitarian aid efforts.

In Ucraina, il rischio di una crisi umanitaria legata ai blackout non è scomparso con la fine dell’inverno. Anche se le temperature sono ora più miti, milioni di civili continuano a vivere con una fornitura di elettricità instabile a causa dei gravi danni subiti dall’infrastruttura energetica del Paese. Le interruzioni di corrente continuano a colpire la vita quotidiana, rendendo l’accesso all’elettricità essenziale per la sicurezza, la comunicazione e i bisogni di base.

Le conseguenze di questa crisi sono già state drammatiche. Nel solo mese di gennaio, oltre 600.000 persone hanno lasciato Kyiv perché servizi essenziali come elettricità e riscaldamento non erano più disponibili in modo affidabile.

Le stazioni energetiche portatili restano quindi estremamente importanti per i civili. Permettono alle famiglie di tenere accese le luci, caricare i telefoni, restare in contatto e alimentare dispositivi essenziali durante i blackout. Non sono utili solo nella situazione attuale, ma sono anche fondamentali in vista del ritorno dell’inverno, poiché l’infrastruttura energetica ucraina è ancora lontana dall’essere completamente ripristinata e nei mesi più freddi la pressione sul sistema aumenterà di nuovo.

Questa raccolta fondi sostiene l’acquisto di stazioni energetiche portatili FOSSiBOT (modelli F1200 e F2400) destinate all’uso civile durante i blackout.

Il progetto è supportato dalla fondazione umanitaria polacca Stand With Ukraine, che riceverà le stazioni e ne organizzerà la consegna in Ucraina nell’ambito degli aiuti umanitari civili.
