I'm raising funds to support my crazy best friend Meghan, her husband Justin, and their incredible act of kindness.

While traveling in Costa Rica, Meghan and Justin were followed by a sweet, skinny stray dog who quickly stole their hearts. They named him Leo (pronounced Laao), and he hasn’t left their side since. Despite being severely malnourished, Leo got a clean bill of health at the vet on 9/8 and has already begun his first round of vaccinations.

With local shelters full and no safe place for him to go, sending Leo back to the streets just isn’t an option. So—they’re doing something amazing: bringing him back to the U.S. to find a loving forever home, where he’ll never have to worry about food or safety again.

Because this is Leo’s first time being vaccinated, he’ll need to stay in quarantine boarding for 30 days before he’s cleared to fly.

Leo is a young (about 1 year old) dalmatian mix with a gentle soul—and he deserves a chance at the good life. Every dollar helps cover his vaccines, quarantine, travel, and care until he finds a forever family.
