Help Bring Laura’s Girls Home

This fundraiser is being set up for Laura Stepanek Light who is currently in the fight of her life to bring her girls home safely. Her two daughters are being held against their will and against court order by their biological father in New Jersey. After over a decade of fighting, the court finally granted Laura full legal and physical custody of her daughters and their dad was ordered to return them to Laura’s care immediately. Instead of following the court order, their dad has kidnapped the girls and run to New Jersey where we believe they are being held in a hotel room. Laura is currently working with California, Iowa and New Jersey’s District Attorneys and law enforcement to have her daughters brought home safely and to have their dad extradited back to California or Iowa to face legal consequences, but we need your help! As you can imagine legal fees to have multiple states coordinate this kind of endeavor far surpasses her means as a single mother.

Laura is the kind of mother we all aspire to be and has remained steadfast in her fight for over a decade with only one goal in mind, keeping her daughters safe. She is not the type to ask for help, so I’m asking for her. Every single dollar helps as her legal fees are already feeling insurmountable.
