It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Latoya, a kind and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Latoya was more than just family—she was like a second mom to me and to many others who were lucky enough to know her. She was the proud mother of five children and dedicated her life to caring for them and those around her. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit made every moment brighter.

Latoya loved to have fun, live life to the fullest, and always put others before herself. Her sudden passing due to health complications has left us all heartbroken and struggling to process this loss.

Latoya passed away in Texas, but her final wish—and our family’s hope—is to bring her home to New York so she can be laid to rest surrounded by the people and places she loved most. The cost of transporting her and arranging her funeral service is more than our family can manage alone.
