Help Bring Ladarius Home to Mississippi

We are heartbroken to share the tragic and unexpected loss of Ladarius Collins, a joyful and loving 21-year-old son, father, and brother. Ladarius was full of life and laughter. He was the second oldest of 11 siblings, and his love for his family—especially his children—was unmatched.

Originally from Mississippi, Ladarius moved to Portland with his mother, Nikki, in hopes of building a better life. But now, in the wake of this devastating loss, Nikki is faced with the unimaginable task of burying her son far from home, with little support nearby.

This fundraiser is being organized on behalf of Nikki to help cover the cost of transporting Ladarius’s body back to Mississippi, arranging his funeral and burial, and travel expenses to bring his siblings home to say their final goodbyes.

In moments like these, community means everything. Nikki and her children are doing their best to stay strong, but they cannot carry this weight alone. Your support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser—means the world to them.
