Krishna Veeraraghavan is a vibrant, funny, and intelligent person who means the world to his family. On December 21st, while in Singapore, Krishna unexpectedly developed critical heart and lung failure that has left him in a serious condition, far from the comfort and support of his family and friends.
He has been in the ICU since Christmas, on and off ventilators, and fighting for his life. His sister, Priya, has been by his side throughout and has borne the full weight of his care with his local medical team. His parents, Veera and Geeta, are now in Singapore. They are all working hard to get him stable to come home.
The daily costs for ventilator support alone is $40,000-$50,000, not to mention medications, doctor fees, tests, etc.
Safe medical transportation to the USA is estimated at $250,000 - $300,000.
Being so far away during such a challenging time has been incredibly difficult for both Krishna and his loved ones, who are eager to have him back in Seattle where he can receive the best possible care and be surrounded by family.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward arranging a medevac to bring Krishna safely back to the Seattle area. In addition, any remaining funds will help cover related medical expenses as he continues his recovery. Our family is doing everything we can to support Krishna, but the costs are overwhelming, and we cannot do this alone.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters to help bring Krishna home. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in his recovery and mean the world to our family. Thank you for your support and compassion during this difficult time.
