My name is Wesley, and I’m reaching out for help to bring my 8-year-old son Kingston home for the summer. Kingston lives in California, while I live in Arkansas with his younger brother and sister. They have spent their entire lives together until just a few months ago, and the separation has been incredibly hard on all of us. Every day, my children talk about how much they miss their brother. My daughter often cries because she misses Kingston so much, and it breaks my heart to see them apart. When Kingston’s mother agreed to let him visit, I was overjoyed, but the trip was arranged on short notice, leaving me little time to save up for his plane tickets.

I work full time and have full custody of my two children here. Normally, I try to keep a little money set aside for emergencies, but recently I had to use most of it to fix my truck. Life can be unpredictable, and this time it caught me off guard. I have managed to put some money back, but I still need help covering the remaining cost of Kingston’s round-trip plane tickets between California and Arkansas. Having Kingston here this summer would mean the world to his siblings and me. It would give them a chance to reconnect, make memories, and heal from the time they’ve spent apart.
