Kervens traveled to the Dominican Republic to help a friend with a move, something he would do for anyone. He’s a new father of baby boy Leo, and a chef who truly loves feeding people and taking care of others.

While there, he was involved in a devastating car accident. He suffered a head injury, multiple fractures, and severe blood loss. He is currently in critical condition.

We are now trying to bring him back home to the U.S. for better care. The medical transport alone is estimated at $50,000 which is a cost our family cannot handle alone.

When Kervens is back on his feet, he and his family plan to host a celebration lunch and dinner to personally feed and thank everyone who supported him through this difficult time.
