My brother Kersaint Jean-Francois is a US Army veteran who has always been there for our family and his country. Recently, he experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and is now in a facility in Utah.

This year has been especially hard for our family. Just a few months ago, our little brother, who is currently serving in the Air Force, suffered a spinal cord injury (SCI) that left him a paraplegic. Having two family members in the hospital for such extreme accidents has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially. Despite these challenges, we have been fortunate to meet many kind and compassionate people along the way, which has given us hope and strength.
