Hello everyone. With heavy hearts, we want to share that my dad, Ken Duke, did not have Medicaid coverage for funeral or end-of-life expenses. At this time, we also do not yet have access to his bank account to determine whether there are any funds available to help with arrangements as of today, January 2. Given the last 18 months of his life spent courageously in recovery, we are unsure what resources may be there.

Our immediate and most important goal is to bring Ken home from the morgue and have him cremated. The cost for this will be approximately $1,200–$1,500.
