Help bring Kate & Meredith's story to life!

My name is Meredith Ford, and I am currently a Senior at Ithaca College, pursuing a major in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts, with a minor in Integrated Marketing and Communications. I am producing my Senior Thesis project, titled "Whispers in the Woods", in collaboration with Kate Drickel, who is directing the film.

'Whispers in the Woods', a short fantasy-drama that follows Danny, a young boy, who struggles with his life at home. The problems his parents face in their own relationship seem to always be taken out on Danny. In an attempt to find peace and comfort in his own identity, the boy turns towards the woods. Here he creates his own little world until, one day, he meets four woodland companions, a fox, owl, raccoon, and possum. The group of misfits attempt to help Danny navigate through his family issues and the many challenges involved with growing up, but will this be enough to save Danny or just cause the boy to become even more detached from reality?

To realize this vision, our production team is seeking to raise $4,000. These funds will cover transportation, meals, and accommodation for our crew, the hiring of professional actors, and the design elements necessary to craft a compelling visual story. Our scheduled shoot is set for October 2024.
