My name is Stephanie, and I am reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for my family. Yesterday, my estranged ex-husband took our 6-year-old son, Justin, and left the state on a plane to California without telling me or Justin’s school. No one was informed about the trip, and he left in violation of our placement orders. The past 24 hours have been overwhelming, as we were unsure of Justin’s whereabouts and safety. Thankfully, they have been located in California with my ex-husband’s family, but the situation is far from resolved.

I am now faced with the urgent need to address this in court to ensure Justin’s safety and wellbeing. To do this, I need to retain a lawyer, which comes with significant fees. Additionally, I am unable to work right now as I focus all my energy on getting my son back, so any support for lost wages would be deeply appreciated.
