Help Bring Josh Home After Tragic Accident

My uncle Josh is only 39 years old, and our family’s world changed on September 10th when he was hit by a car while walking in San Diego, California. The accident left him with a severe brain injury. Now, he is bedbound, unable to walk, and can barely speak. It’s heartbreaking to see someone so full of life now facing such overwhelming challenges every day.

Right now, Josh is in a nursing facility, but the care he receives there isn’t what he deserves. We worry about him constantly and want nothing more than to bring him home, where he can be surrounded by family and love. Our goal is to make our house handicap accessible and build a small apartment behind my house so Josh can live with us and have the support and attention he needs 24/7. Being together as a family will make a world of difference in his recovery and quality of life.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and concern for my uncle. It means so much to my family. I am deeply grateful to every person who has supported us on this journey. This has been a very hard season, and we are doing our best to get through it. If anyone has gone through something similar or has advice, please let us know how we can cope. Your kindness and support give us hope, and we appreciate any help you can offer to bring Josh home.
