Joseph Czaplinski was a true force of nature—kindhearted, sarcastic, and always the life of the party. He loved riding motorcycles, soaking up the sunshine, and living life to the fullest. Joseph had just moved to Florida, excited for a new chapter, but his time there was heartbreakingly short. He is survived by his mother, sister, and his 4 children, all of whom adored him and will miss him deeply.

On the morning of March 10th, Joseph was tragically killed in a hit and run accident while riding his skateboard home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Our family is now faced with the difficult decision of traveling to Florida for a service, or bringing Joseph home to Maryland for cremation and a proper farewell. Both options are expensive, but having him close to home would mean the world to us. We will do whatever it takes to ensure his body is properly taken care of and that he is honored in a way that reflects the love and joy he brought to everyone around him.
