Help Bring Jose R ‘Pelon’ Figueroa’s Body Home

On Saturday 10/09/21, my uncle Jose Refugio Figueroa Jr, known as ‘Pelon’, passed suddenly after losing his fight to COVID.. I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of his parents, my grandparents, Jose Refugio Sr and Raquel Figueroa in efforts to raise funds to bring his body from Washington state, back home to my grandparents in California for memorial services..
My uncle Pelon was a very sweet and caring man. He loved his parents and his family with his whole heart. My grandparents didn’t get to see much of him, because he lived in another state and they were unable to travel, but he kept in contact as much as he could. My uncle worried about his parents daily, and after going years without seeing them, he surprised them with a visit just this year, not knowing that it would be the last time he would be able to hold them.
My grandparents are grieving the loss of their son, their guerito, their pelon, very deeply.. No parent should have to bury their child..
In efforts to ease the financial burden of trying to bring their baby back to them, I ask if you can donate any amount possible, whether it be $1 or $5, any donations are greatly appreciated! And if you can not donate I ask that you please keep my family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of my uncle Pelon.
