My father Jose is a hard-working man. He was on his way to work when he got detained by ICE agents who didn't even ask him for his documentation, which he has, and didn't let him take his heart medication with him due to previous heart surgeries that he's had. So it is essential for us to be able to get him out of there as soon as possible to make sure that he gets the medical attention that he needs.

Recently, our lives were turned upside down. It was completely unexpected, and our family is struggling to cope with the sudden loss of his presence and support. Without him, we are facing challenges we never imagined; emotionally.
