Jon Butler was my little brother, and even though we fought like cats and dogs growing up, we always had each other's backs when life got tough. He was the kind of person who, despite his struggles, never stopped caring for those he loved. Losing him in a recent house fire has left a hole in our family that words can hardly describe.
Jon spent much of his life battling addiction, but he found the strength to get clean and was working hard to build a better future. His journey was not easy, but he never gave up. Now, I am hoping to honor his memory by bringing him home to Arizona, so he can be laid to rest with our mom. The funds raised will help cover the costs of his cremation in Washington and transporting his ashes back to Arizona for burial.
If you are able to help, it would mean the world to our family. Your support will help us give Jon the peace and dignity he deserves. Thank you for reading our story and for any kindness you can offer during this difficult time.
