Pray & Support Johnny Recovery

UPDATE 10/28/25:

This weekend, Johnny made it back to the States and is now in San Diego receiving care. ❤️

He recently underwent emergency neck and spinal surgery after suffering a serious break. He’s currently recovering in the ICU and faces a long road ahead, including intensive therapy to learn how to walk again, as he is currently paralyzed.

I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my grandpa, Juanito (Johnny)— someone who has always gone out of his way to help others, no matter the situation. If you know Johnny, you know how generous, hardworking, and selfless he is.

Recently, while working in Japan, Johnny suffered a serious injury that has completely turned his life upside down. He now faces a long road to recovery that will include multiple surgeries, extensive physical therapy, and ongoing medical care to regain his strength.

Our family’s immediate goal is to bring Johnny home to California, where he can recover surrounded by loved ones. But the costs are significant — from emergency medical treatment overseas, to transportation back home, and all the medical expenses ahead.
