Help Bring John Home for a Dignified Farewell

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Hope and on Tuesday, March 4th, my brother John passed away from cancer while incarcerated. Our family is grieving a loss that came with very difficult circumstances.

My brother spent the end of his life in captivity. While we cannot change the past, we believe that in death he deserves dignity, peace, and the chance to finally come home.

I do not want my brother to remain captive in death. If we cannot raise the funds required to claim his body and handle the necessary arrangements, he may remain in the custody of the system even after his passing. That is something our family is desperately trying to prevent.

No matter the mistakes someone may have made in life, they are still a human being who deserves compassion and a proper resting place. My brother was more than the circumstances that surrounded his final days; he was someone’s son, someone’s brother, an uncle, and someone who was loved.

We are asking for help raising the funds needed to claim his body and give him the dignity of being laid to rest by his family.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help bring him home and ensure he is finally free and not captive in death.

If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us.

Thank you for helping us give my brother the peace he deserves.
