More Than Just a Bus. A Lifetime of Memories. A Dream Worth Chasing.

For some people, a bus is simply a way to get from one place to another. But for me, a bus means something much more.

It represents my childhood, my family, my memories, and most importantly, my dad.

Growing up, buses were always a part of my life. My dad was a school bus driver, and whenever I had the opportunity, I would ride along with him. Those weren't just ordinary bus rides. They were adventures.

Whether we were traveling down familiar roads, having conversations, or simply enjoying the ride together, those moments became some of my favorite childhood memories.

That's where my love for buses began.

It wasn't necessarily about the engine, the wheels, or the size of the vehicle. It was about the experiences, the memories, and the person sitting behind the wheel.

And when my dad passed away, those memories became even more meaningful.

Even today, whenever I see a school bus driving down the road, a part of me goes right back to those days. I remember the rides, the conversations, and the time we spent together.

Those are memories I never want to lose.

Introducing JML Ghost Rider

That's where JML Ghost Rider comes in.

My dream is to purchase a Collins Bus TH-500, built on a Ford Transit chassis, and transform it into my very own mini skoolie.

Unlike a traditional yellow school bus, JML Ghost Rider will feature a clean white exterior, black lettering, and a unique ghost-themed personality.

The goal is to create something that's unmistakably mine while still honoring the memories that inspired it.

But JML Ghost Rider isn't just going to be a recreational vehicle or something I take out on occasional weekends.

I want it to become my primary, everyday vehicle.

Sure, I could purchase a regular car. That would probably be the easier and more conventional choice.

But a regular car wouldn't carry the same meaning.

With JML Ghost Rider, I want to experience that familiar feeling of being on the road again. Whether I'm running errands, traveling around Western New York, taking road trips, or discovering somewhere new, every mile will be another chapter in a story that started years ago with my dad.

And that's what makes this dream so special to me.
