Hi, my name is Luis Mendoza Martinez. On Monday, January 5th, 2026, my dad, Jesus Martinez Mendez, was detained by ICE while he was heading out for work. He is a loving father, a hard worker, and the main support for my siblings. His sudden detention has turned our world upside down, emotionally and financially.

We are facing urgent expenses, including immigration attorney fees, bond costs, and basic living expenses while we fight for his release. It has been extremely overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to bring him home.

My dad has always been there for my siblings and me. He believes deeply in working hard and doing right by others. Seeing him separated from us has been incredibly painful, especially for my two younger siblings and my uncle.

Hola, mi nombre es Luis Mendoza Martínez. El lunes 5 de enero de 2026, mi padre, Jesús Martínez Méndez, fue detenido por ICE cuando se dirigía al trabajo. Es un padre cariñoso, un trabajador incansable y el principal sustento de mis hermanos. Su repentina detención ha cambiado nuestras vidas emocional y económicamente.

Nos enfrentamos gastos urgentes, incluyendo pagos para un abogado, costos de fianza y gastos básicos mientras luchamos por su liberación. Ha sido una situación extremadamente difícil y estamos haciendo todo lo posible para que vuelva a casa.

Mi padre siempre ha estado ahí para mis hermanos y para mí. Cree firmemente en el trabajo duro y en hacer lo correcto. Verlo separado de nosotros ha sido increíblemente doloroso, especialmente para mis dos hermanos menores y mi tío.
