My father, James Jones Jr. (Jay), was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back and always put his family first. He loved his children and grandchildren deeply, and his kindness touched everyone who knew him.

Yesterday, on December 9, my world changed when my father passed away unexpectedly at New Hanover in Wilmington. The loss is overwhelming, and I am now faced with the difficult task of bringing him home and arranging his funeral.
