Hi family and friends, I’m raising funds to help cover legal fees so I can bring my 6-year-old son, Jaxson, home where he belongs.

Jaxson has been with me for most of his life. He was born and raised in Ukiah, California. Unfortunately, he was moved to Ohio under false pretenses, and I’m now fighting to have the case overturned and reunite with him. His dad is not actively involved in his everyday care because of his “job” so most of the time he is in the care his girlfriend. Jaxson has missed so much school that he’s been marked chronically absent. The court order in place is not being followed, and it’s deeply affecting both him and our bond.

This past year has been incredibly emotional and difficult. I’ve stayed strong, continued going to school full-time, and avoided turning to any unhealthy coping methods, because I want to be the best version of myself for my son. I’ve done everything I can on my own, but I’ve reached the point where I need help.

I found an attorney who believes in my case and is confident he can help bring Jaxson home, but I have to come up with $3,500 before my October 28th court date. He’s allowing me to pay the rest later, which is a huge blessing, but I still need to come up with this first part quickly.

This isn’t just about me — it’s about Jaxson getting to be back with his mom, his cousins, and our whole family who love and miss him dearly.
