Jared Ferranti, son of Sandra Ferranti, suffered a severe stroke in mid-October while working in Hobbs, NM. The stroke caused significant damage to the right side of his brain, and he was quickly transported to a trauma hospital in Lubbock, TX for emergency surgery. Doctors removed a large portion of his skull to relieve brain swelling, and since then, Jared has faced ongoing challenges including atrial fibrillation, ventilator support, high heart rate, blood pressure issues, and kidney complications. Despite these hardships, Jared continues to fight, and his family celebrates every small sign of progress as a blessing.

Jared has now been approved for transfer to Houston Methodist Hospital, where he can be closer to his family and friends who are ready to support his recovery. The most urgent need is covering the cost of medical transport from Lubbock to Houston, which is not covered by insurance. The family’s greatest concern is ensuring Jared’s safe transfer so he can receive the care and support he needs to heal.
