Please help a grieving father bring his son home

Hi. My name is Karen. I am trying to fundraise to help my brother, Paul, bring his son, Jacob, back to Minnesota to lay him to rest. On 1-19-24, Jacob Schmitz, 36 was hit (as a pedestrian) in a hit and run accident in Florida. Jacob/Jake was in a coma and on a ventilator with a traumatic brain injury. Jake had surgery to repair his kidney, liver, femur, and jaw. Jake has been in critical condition since he was hit. The only response Jake had was to pain. Jake was having strokes on both sides of his brain confirmed by MRI. Yesterday, 1-30-24, the doctors discovered that Jake has another area of his brain that is bleeding and there is nothing medically that can be done to repair it. My brother and his wife, and two of Jake's sister's have gone to Florida to say goodbye to him. My brother doesn't have the financial means to deal with this unexpected tragedy. Jake didn't have any life insurance. I am hoping to raise enough for Paul to at least get Jake back home, to Minnesota. It would be greatly appreciated if you are able to donate any amount to help my brother.
