Hello! My name is Theo Kutsko, but I’m more commonly known in the Pittsburgh scene as the drag artist Theocracy. On top of being a drag king/queen/thing, I am an artist on-all-fronts, just recently earning my degree in Theatre Arts at Point Park University. Just this last may, I was thrillingly able to produce my solo show “Igor Paradigm: A One-Man Spiral, Live in Concert” at Ptown bar. The show was in development for much of my schooling and was my capstone. And it was great! But it was just the first step - many people didn’t get to see this one.

We are aiming for the next step of this production. With some minor script reworking and a more established theatrical space through our producer, Sour Flower Events, we want to bring Igor to a larger audience. PTOWN as a space had many limitations: it was a bar, so seating was a bit awkward, the stage was small, lots of people who weren’t 21 couldn’t make it. Sour Flower is making it possible for us to use the Little Giant space up in Allentown, Pittsburgh! … but we just need to raise the funds to pay for it.

As a drag artist and theatre artist, I feel those two worlds are so separated. With Igor, I’m bridging the two. Igor is a show about love vs. obsession, love and admiration for queer media, and Godzilla. It would be a dream to do this piece again for a larger audience.
