Justice for Iazias Davis, also known as Bam Bam, a young man from Brooklyn, New York, who relocated to Durham, North Carolina, in pursuit of better education and career opportunities.

Tragically, Iazias, who was 18 years old, was fatally hit by a reckless driver on November 13, 2025, at the intersection of Guess Road and Horton Road.

On that fateful day, Iazias had attended a job fair to enhance his skills and secure a higher-paying job. Later that evening, he went to the store to purchase party cups and a truck car set for his brother’s fourth birthday party, which was scheduled to take place that evening at home. As he crossed the street, he was unfortunately struck by a speeding car that exceeded the speed limit.

Iazias was a bright, loving, and caring young man. He graduated from Hillside High School and, just two weeks before his graduation, secured a job at Walmart. He cherished his family deeply, including his brothers, father, mother, sister, and entire family.

Upon returning to the scene of the accident, the family discovered that all the toys he had brought for his brother were scattered and crushed at the bus stop. The store where he had purchased the toys expressed surprise at his genuine joy in buying toys for his brother.

The family is urgently seeking anyone who was walking, driving, or on the bus lines 1, 4, and 6 lines between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. They kindly request that anyone with camera footage from that time send it to his father at [phone redacted] or [email redacted]. Additionally, they are seeking assistance in transporting his body back to New York, where he belongs, so that he can receive a proper burial.

The family is deeply concerned about the possibility of his body being donated without his consent. They received a call from the donor station informing them that they had already requested his eyes before they had even seen his body.
