Alejandro (Hondo) Trigueros came to the United States from Honduras over 20 years ago, determined to build a better life for his family. Through hard work and dedication, he created a loving home and became a cherished member of his community. Alejandro worked six days a week to provide for his family, and during the Christmas season, he devoted even more time to spreading joy—decorating homes for families across Long Island, especially those with children facing health challenges or hardships. He was known for his generosity, always giving his time to help others, and for the warmth and positivity he brought to every room. To know Hondo was to love him; he was a true friend to all and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Tragically, Alejandro passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm, leaving behind his beloved wife, two children, and grandchild. His family is now facing the urgent challenge of raising funds to send him home to Honduras, so he can be laid to rest in peace. The costs of arranging his return and funeral are significant and time-sensitive, and his loved ones are doing everything they can to honor his wishes.
