Our hearts are shattered as we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Kilver Alexander Perez — a devoted father, brother, son, and friend.

Kilver was the proud father of three beautiful children who depended on him for love, guidance, and support. Just six months ago, he was deported by ICE, forced to leave behind not only his children but also the business and life he worked so hard to build.

Determined to provide for his family, Kilver tried to rebuild his life in Honduras, but opportunities were scarce and danger was constant. He then traveled to Colombia in search of work, hoping to create a stable future for his children. Despite his endless effort, he faced hardship at every turn.

In October 2025, Kilver made the heartbreaking but brave decision to return to the United States — to reunite with his children and come back home. He risked everything for the opportunity to be a father to his kids again.

On November 4th, we received the most painful news imaginable.

Kilver was one of seven people who tragically lost their lives inside a semi-truck while trying to cross the border. His journey — fueled by love and hope — ended far too soon.

Our family is now left grieving this unimaginable loss while also facing the heavy burden of funeral expenses and the ongoing support of his three children who miss their father deeply.
