On April 30th, I almost lost my boy. Vinny’s stomach ruptured, and he went into septic shock. He survived emergency surgery, but we were told there was a high chance he might not make it through the night. He was transferred to PVE, then to Murdoch, where he has been fighting to get stronger every day.

After what has felt like weeks—rather than days—my boy is finally coming home tomorrow.
