Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Gustavo Oropeza on September 10, 2025. Gustavo was a loving husband, devoted father, and a kind soul who touched the lives of many with his warmth, laughter, and generosity. He leaves behind his wife, and children who are devastated by this sudden loss. In this incredibly difficult time, we are trying to bring Gustavo home so he can be laid to rest near his family and loved ones.
Due to severe ice and dangerous travel conditions, his wife and his mother along with his other family are unable to travel to where he is currently located. We are urgently seeking help to cover the significant costs involved in transporting him home, as well as assisting with funeral arrangements and supporting his family during this heartbreaking time.
We know that times are tough for many, but any contribution no matter how small would mean the world to us. If you're unable to donate, we would deeply appreciate it if you could share this fundraiser with others.

Con gran pesar compartimos la inesperada pérdida de nuestro querido Gustavo Oropeza, quien falleció el 10 de septiembre de 2025. Gustavo fue un esposo amoroso, un padre dedicado y un alma bondadosa que tocó la vida de muchos con su calidez, su risa y su generosidad.
Deja atrás a su esposa y a sus hijos, quienes están profundamente devastados por esta repentina pérdida. En este momento tan difícil, estamos haciendo todo lo posible por traer a Gustavo de regreso a casa, para que pueda descansar en paz cerca de su familia y seres queridos.
Debido a condiciones extremas, y con peligros en las carreteras, su esposa, su madre y otros familiares no pueden viajar al lugar donde se encuentra actualmente. Estamos buscando con urgencia apoyo para cubrir los gastos significativos del traslado, así como los costos del funeral y la asistencia para su familia durante este momento tan doloroso.
