Support Gothic Tropic: Help Me Raise $12,000 to Record My New Album!

I'm posting on GoFundMe to share some exciting news and a heartfelt request for support. My project, Gothic Tropic, is ready to embark on the new journey of recording a new album, and I need your help to make it happen. Since Covid, I’ve been capped at the knees. Touring income stopped, and compulsion to create music with it. I’ve since been demoing out 20+ songs, and feeling the spark to push my project yet again. Anyone would tell you I have a doctorate in suffering in silence, but I’m breaking out of my shell to elicit this support.

Over the years, Gothic Tropic has evolved into a unique blend of sounds that defy traditional genres, combining elements of indie rock, pop, and r&b with a distinct frenetic flair. This new album is my most ambitious project yet, and I need your help to realize this vision.

To bring this vision to life, I need to raise $12,000. This funding will cover essential costs such as studio time, production, mixing, mastering, and humble promotional efforts to ensure the album reaches as many ears as possible. Here’s a breakdown of how the funds will be allocated:

- Studio Time, Personnel, Production: $7,500

- Mixing and Mastering: $3,000

- Promotion and Marketing: $1,500

Your support will directly contribute to the creation of music that I hope will resonate deeply with listeners and expand my artistic boundaries.
