Help Bring Godzilla to G-Fest 2025!

Hey fellow Kaiju fans!!

I’m Sean Sumagaysay, an international cosplayer from Puerto Rico. My longest-running project since 2017’s World Cosplay Summit, a Godzilla suit (pictured) based on the 2002 film “Godzilla x MechaGodzilla”, was rebuilt from scratch in 2022 and has been pretty active last year. Slowly being tweaked and improved to make it as screen accurate as possible!

Next month in July, I plan to bring it to G-Fest, one of the largest conventions in Chicago to celebrate Godzilla and all things giant monsters! Because this is a more personal event; paying monthly workshop rent and maintaining the suit has caused a Kaiju-sized dent on my budget. So I come to ask for assistance in easing the travel expenses for such an enormous cosplay.

The Godzilla suit travels via oversize boxes on our flight, so these funds will help cover any excessive fees, alongside hotel accommodations and ground transportation such as UberXL.

Please help me bring my Godzilla suit to G-Fest, so that it reunites with its fellow ensemble of gargantuan Kaiju and becomes part of G-Fest’s 30th Anniversary!
