Gerardo Alonso Archundia is a devoted husband, loving father, and the heart of our family. He has always put others before himself, caring for anyone in need and working tirelessly to provide for our family of six, as well as our in-laws. Even with a demanding job that often requires more than 70 hours a week, Gerardo always finds time to be present for our children, especially our youngest son, Emmanuel, who is just 9 years old. His compassion and dedication extend beyond our immediate family, as he also helps care for his father-in-law, who suffers from dementia and needs round-the-clock support.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Gerardo was placed in ICE detention. This has been a devastating blow to our family, both emotionally and financially. Gerardo has never been in trouble with the law and is truly a model citizen. With him unable to work, we are struggling to cover basic living expenses and the mounting legal fees required to fight for his release and keep our family together. The uncertainty and stress have been overwhelming, but we are determined to do everything we can to bring him home.
