Hi, my name is Laura, I’m 28 and live in Bournemouth. Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore dogs — especially pugs! My beautiful girl Freida has been with me since she was just 10 weeks old. She’s now almost six, full of personality, love, and cuddles. She’s my best friend and my whole world.

Sadly, I’m reaching out because I’m going through an incredibly painful and difficult situation. My ex-partner has taken Freida, and I currently have no contact or knowledge of where they are. After four years of shared care, this has completely shattered me. I am utterly heartbroken and desperate to bring my girl home and with me.

Those who know me know how inseparable Freida and I are — she’s my world, my comfort, my joy. My other dog, Pepper, misses her deeply too, and my friends and family are devastated. We just want Freida back safe and sound.

Unfortunately, getting her home is not simple or cheap. I’m facing legal costs, travel expenses, and other fees as I fight to be reunited with her. That’s why I’m asking, with all my heart, for any help you can give. Every single donation — no matter how small — will go directly towards bringing Freida home.
