Help Bring 'Free' Chair To The Big Screen

Hello and welcome to my senior thesis film, Free' Chair's, crowdfunding page.
Over the last 2 years I have become enchanted by and infatuated over 'Free' Chairs. How many 'Free' Chairs, deserted on the side of the road, have I driven past in my day? How many have you? How often are these chairs picked up, thrown in the back of some optimists' trunk, painstakingly wrestled through the doorway, and placed amid other roadside treasures? How many of these chairs are never picked up and left to languish on the roadside? Who wrote that 'Free' sign? And, how long will that cardboard survive out there in the ravaging Vermont seasons? Should I pick up that chair? These are all questions I began asking myself as I became obsessed with the stories behind each and every four legged, upholstery, sometimes, adorned, sittables. Soon after I became mentally invested in the chairs I realized, 'Damnit, you idiot, if you don't take a picture of everyone of those friggin' chairs, what in this aimless existence are you doing!'
So I began... every chair I passed, pulling over and taking a picture. As one might guess, they started to stack up- photograph after photograph. I didn't know what their purpose was- the photos' meanings remained unknown, yet the depths of the chairs, scattered across Vermont's beautiful landscape, only burgeoned, their titillating significance expanding exponentially almost every day.
That was when it came to me - I'm a filmmaker, I go to school for this, what am I doing taking mere photographs? So I asked myself, 'What would happen if someone found the perfect 'Free' chair? And, I wrote a script. I think it is pretty good. It follows two suburban families who struggle to maintain friendships after finding the perfect 'Free' Chair on the side of the road.
Unfortunately, the $$$ problem has now come up and I have been forced to reckon with the simple facts, photos are cheaper than films... So, I've created this crowdfunding in hopes that I can sell my chair photos to those of generous inclinations and raise some money to make this film as good as possible. Collectively, let us honor the 'Free' Chairs of Vermont's by selling them... In return I will put them on the big screen.
